Learning Reflection
I'm not a documentation guy but I do get the importance of preparing and working on all the plans such as Rish Analysis and Project plan, expecially when things goes wrong, we can always go back to the original document and see what was the plan that everyone was agreed on. But I still feels like these documentations could be more usedful for larger project. I have a strong feeling that many contents and detailed we wrote right now are just guessing and wont be even close to the real situation, and the team propabaly wont look at it any more once its finished. On the other hand, the task management tools such as Trello or Mirror are extrememly powerful and useful for team management, I learned a lot about how to use these tools and I believe they will be still very useful for next semester.
Working on the GDD do gives us a lot time to think about how the game will actually looks like, what are the core mechanics and how these mechanics will works in game to help delviery the messaage. For me, the process of working on the GDD is more helpful thant the document itself.
Right now, I believe our have already have a clear picture of how the game looks like and understand how the game works, I believe we are ready for the actual development next semester.
